ZOR in the classroom

Each class choose a book to investigate; here are a few examples of their work.

In Year 1, they investigated the feelings of Ravi from Ravi's Roar, as he became frustrated with being the smallest in his family. 

        Year 2 read Angry Arthur by Hiawyn Oram who lost his temper about something really small and at the end of the story couldn't remember why. They investigated how it felt to be in the red zone.

In Year 5 they investigated the story of Perfectly Norman by Tom Percival and identified how he had felt at different points in the story. Norman hides his wings so the children discussed what they hide. 

All the Ways to be Smart by Davina Bell enabled Year 6 to think about how smart they were.
