At Forest Row Church of England Primary School, our vision and values shape everything that we do.

 

Our  Mission

To achieve our vision, we follow Jesus’ teaching to love as we are loved and to treat others as we would want to be treated. We create a rich and inviting curriculum within a safe and stimulating community where children become both emotionally and academically resilient.

 

Golden Rule

To achieve our mission, we follow our Golden Rule:

“Treat others just as you want to be treated.” (Luke 6:31)

and explore the Christian values of: love and kindness, respect, hope, resilience, responsibility and fairness.

Values

Each Christian value has been chosen to underpin the school's vision. Values are supported by both a Bible verse and a story, and also link to our JIGSAW scheme of work in Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE).

 

A large display in the school's hall acts as a wonderful informative and visual reminder of our values (see posters below.)
