Head of School's Welcome

Welcome to Forest Row Church of England Primary School - a rural village school located near the beautiful Ashdown Forest.

At Forest Row, our vision is that every child who journeys through our school family will grow into loving adults who are forever inspired to learn and ready for life’s adventures. We achieve this by following Jesus’ teachings and providing all children with a safe and supportive environment in which they can learn, develop, and be the best they can be. We ensure that the children are supported emotionally and mentally as well as academically.

Our vision and Christian values are also central to all that we do and form the basis for our curriculum. Through our carefully designed curriculum, our children experience a wide range of enriching opportunities. They are encouraged to make links across subjects and projects while increasing their knowledge and understanding of specific concepts and events. Our teachers strive to create stimulating and inspiring environments and learning opportunities.

Having been a class teacher at Forest Row for 7 years, I am excited to be taking on the role of Head of School from September. I look forward to guiding the school towards the exciting opportunities ahead as we enter into a partnership with the Bluebell Federation.
