School Meals are provided by East Sussex County Council via Chartwells (previously known as Scolarest). School meals are usually paid for each day at the service counter and cost £1.87 per day as from September 2009. To assist the kitchen staff pupils are expected to have the correct money in a named purse or wallet.

Free School Meals
Your child may be entitled to free school meals and County are simplifying the procedure for applying for these. To find out more please contact East Sussex County Council's Free School Meals Team on 01273 481696 or 01273 481388 or collect a claim form from the office. You will need to be claiming one of; Income support, Jobseeker’s Allowance (income based), Employment & Support Allowance (income related), Child Tax Credit (without Working Tax credit), pension credit – guarantee credit.
